Oudh, a symbol of luxury, continues to inspire modern perfumery with its warm, intense and sensual character. Its popularity is linked to the growing fascination with exotic Middle Eastern scents. In this creation, the purple flowers of the patchouli plant are combined with the rich, earthy notes of oudh, resulting in a sophisticated and deep fragrance experience.

An opulent, balsamic fragrance that opens with a hint of pink pepper, followed by a heart of rose, enhanced by geranium and violets. The rich, woody base combines purple patchouli and vetiver, creating a long-lasting, unforgettable aroma.

Fragrance notes of Oudh & Purple Patchouli

Fragrance notes describe the different layers of a fragrance oil, which together determine the character and development of the fragrance.
They are often divided into three categories:
  1. Top notes: These are the first scents you smell when using the fragrance oil.
They are light and refreshing, but dissipate quickly.
Examples are citrus, mint and light flowers.

  2. Heart notes: These emerge once the top notes fade.
They form the core of the fragrance and linger longer.
Examples are floral, spicy or fruity scents, such as rose, lavender or spices.

  3. Base notes: These are the deeper scents that linger the longest and provide the longevity of the fragrance oil.
Examples include wood, musk, amber or vanilla.

Together, these layers form a layered and long-lasting fragrance experience ideal for use in candles, soaps or cosmetic products.

The IFRA rate is the safety rate. The percentage is a maximum. This is how much can come in contact with your skin when making this particular product without causing irritation. Even if a percentage is high, it doesn't mean you have to use the maximum.

The percentage of fragrance oil is a calculation of the total. If you make a 1 kg soap or candle and the maximum percentage is 5%, the maximum you can use is the following:
1000 grams x 0.05 = 50 milliliters of fragrance oil.
