Pistachio is a fragrance to keep an eye on. It has recently gained influence in everything from fine perfumes to body washes inspired by this savory and luxurious accord. Fig can be expressed in many ways: green, juicy or milky. For this timeless fragrance, we added a modern twist with a subtle hint of salt, giving it a unique and sophisticated character.

This delicious fragrance opens with the combination of savory, toasted pistachio and green fig tree leaves, with milky undertones that add a creamy softness. Fruity notes of fig, rhubarb and flowering mimosa are brought to life with salty accents, giving the fragrance a playful freshness. The base rests on warm vanilla cream and woody notes of fig tree bark, creating a rich and complex fragrance experience. Perfect for use in soaps, candles, cosmetics and diffusers by DIY makers looking for something unique.

Fragrance notes of Pistachio & Salted Fig

Fragrance notes describe the different layers of a fragrance oil, which together determine the character and development of the fragrance.
They are often divided into three categories:
  1. Top notes: These are the first scents you smell when using the fragrance oil.
They are light and refreshing, but dissipate quickly.
Examples are citrus, mint and light flowers.

  2. Heart notes: These emerge once the top notes fade.
They form the core of the fragrance and linger longer.
Examples are floral, spicy or fruity scents, such as rose, lavender or spices.

  3. Base notes: These are the deeper scents that linger the longest and provide the longevity of the fragrance oil.
Examples include wood, musk, amber or vanilla.

Together, these layers form a layered and long-lasting fragrance experience ideal for use in candles, soaps or cosmetic products.

Maximum quantity per application

The IFRA rate is the safety rate. The percentage is a maximum. This is how much can come in contact with your skin when making this particular product without causing irritation. Even if a percentage is high, it doesn't mean you have to use the maximum.

The percentage of fragrance oil is a calculation of the total. If you make a 1 kg soap or candle and the maximum percentage is 5%, the maximum you can use is the following:
1000 grams x 0.05 = 50 milliliters of fragrance oil.
