The Lilac and Rosehip Bath Bombs recipe combines the soothing scents of lilac and rosehip to create a relaxing and rejuvenating bathing experience. Made with high-quality ingredients and essential oils, the bath bomb fizzes and releases its nourishing properties into the water, leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized. The fragrance of lilac is known to promote calm and relaxation, while rosehip is rich in antioxidants, making this bath bomb an ideal choice for those seeking to unwind after a long day or to pamper themselves.

Ingredients

  • About 5-6 Plastic Bath Bomb Molds
  • 453.5 g Baking Soda
  • 227 g Citric Acid
  • 28.3 g Rosehip Seed Oil
  • 8.5 g Polysorbate 80
  • 14 g Lilac Fragrance Oil
  • Witch Hazel in a Spray Bottle
  • Pink Rose Petals
  • Purple Mica

Instructions

  1. Push 453.5 g baking soda and 227 g citric acid through a strainer into a large mixing bowl, and use gloved hands or a spoon to mix them.
  2. Add 28.3 g rosehip seed oil, 14 g Lilac Fragrance Oil, and 8.5 g polysorbate 80. Use your hands to fully incorporate the wet and dry ingredients.
  3. Place about 1/3 of the mixture into a separate bowl and add Purple Mica until you’re happy with the color – we recommend about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon. Mix in thoroughly.
  4. Drop a pinch of rose petals into one-half of the 5-6 molds. Check the consistency of the bath bomb mixture. It should feel like wet sand and hold its shape when squeezed. If it’s too dry, use one hand to spritz both containers with witch hazel and use your other hand to mix.
  5. Add white bath bomb mixture over the rose petals until half of the mold is about 2/3 full. Press the bath bomb mixture in firmly. Layer purple bath bomb mixture on top until the mold is full and press firmly. Repeat with the other half of the bath bomb mold. Clear any powder from the seams of the mold, match the eyelets, and close. Make sure to direct pressure on the seams to prevent dents.
  6. Let the bath bombs dry overnight in the mold. To use, drop into a hot bath and enjoy!
