This whipped body butter recipe is made with cupuacu butter. It has a lovely deep chocolate scent, feels very light on the skin and does not leave a greasy film. Everything we want from a body butter.
Cupuacu butter is a very special cosmetic butter similar to cocoa butter. They both have a chocolate scent, but the cupuacu butter scent has some caramel undertones, is deeper and lingers longer. In this recipe we add a fragrance oil, which you can replace with another or if you like the natural scent of the cupuacu butter, you can remove the fragrance oil by increasing the macadamia oil.
